Singapore - GlobalStar Travel Management, a worldwide joint venture partnership of travel management companies (TMCs), is expanding its network in Asia-Pacific.
It is looking for one partner each in South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
The new additions will complete its regional network, which now consists of Business World Travel in New Zealand, Travelogic in Australia, GlobalStar in Japan, Bird Travel Group in India, Nan Hwa (Express) Travel Services in Hong Kong and China, Sharp Travel Services in the Philippines, Boustead Travel in Malaysia and Global Travel in Singapore, which is also its regional headquarters.
The existing partners contributed more than US$500 million to the company last year, whose annual sales volume is US$5 billion. The new partners are expected to bring in another US$100 million from the region.
