By Wrisney Tan

Singapore - Visiting London on business has become more convenient with the introduction of The London Business Card, which offers a range of benefits and discounts.

Launched by The Leisure Pass Group and VisitLondon, the card costs £10 (US$18.34) and is on sale at www.londonbusinesscard.com.

According to VisitBritain Singapore’s marketing executive, Ms Lucy Ong, Singapore generates an average 30,000 business visitors to Britain each year, most of whom head for London.

The Leisure Pass Group, sales and marketing manager, Mr Ian Fyfe said: “We are aiming for 30,000 card sales by July this year, selling to conferences and events taking place in London and to those visiting for independent business reasons. We have two supply options – a website for individuals and by working directly with companies for bulk supplies where notable discounts apply according to volume.
