Free airport butler
China World Hotel, Beijing offers a free airport butler service for guests who book hotel limousine transfers. The airport butler meets guests directly at the aircraft gate, then escorts them through immigration, baggage claim and customs to a waiting limousine. The butler will also escorts guests to the departure gate on departure. The hotel's limousine service to the airport costs RMB380 (US$46) each way.

Novotel renovates
Novotel Xinqiao Beijing has opened its renovated Coffee Shop, offering a trendy new place to dine and meet business associates. Designed by French designer Philippe Ollendorff, the elegant steel-and-glass space serves as a show kitchen as well as lunch and dinner buffets at RMB128 (US$15.50) and RMB158 respectively. Prices include unlimited soft drinks and beer.

The Grand Hyatt Shanghai offers an outside catering and event service. The hotel's team of event planners can organise and cater corporate events, cocktail parties and fundraising events at locations of the client's choice. Theme parties can also be tailored to the client's requirements.

Traders Fudu opens
Traders Fudu Hotel, Changzhou, opened in January in the city's New Development Zone. Changzhou is in the Yangtze Delta region, 160km west of Shanghai and 110km south-east of Nanjing. The hotel has 378 guestrooms and suites, two grand ballrooms and 11 function rooms.
It is the only internationally managed hotel in Changzhou.

Four Points in Shenzhen
Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen has made its debut in China. The hotel, in Shenzhen's Futian Free Trade Zone, has 278 guestrooms and suites. Some of the hotel's facilities are still under construction and will open in stages throughout the year.
